Christopher de Laforest, P.Eng., CPHC
From Saskatchewan to major international work arenas in Europe, Chris is the engineering and building professional for SERI®. His work experience spans commercial buildings, home renovations and retrofits, on and offshore environments, and energy producers. Chris is a Petroleum & Industrial Engineer and a Certified Passive House provider. From skyscrapers to bungalows, he has a passion for detail and an interest in exploring new technologies and concepts for work and living spaces. Chris’ innovative skillset improves corporate plans and performance measures, decreasing your project development and long-term costs.
Elan de Laforest, P.Biol., MBA, FMCHC
Growing up in international locations and on an Alberta farm was the beginning of Elan’s environmental roots. Early in her career as a biologist she found herself working closely with farmers, ranchers, and small businesses. Interest in business and emergency planning grew from nursing education and her experience with flooding and oil spill incidents. As a strategic advisor and coach, she understands and outlines different perspectives for differing clients, bringing her diverse policy, leadership, and management expertise to every SERI® project.
